Today's Charity: Ar-Rahmah Trust
The Ar-Rahmah Trust aims to alleviate the suffering of those vulnerable or in need worldwide. They also offer educational support to widowed women in poorer parts of the world.
£150 is all it costs for the Ar-Rahmah Trust to provide a water pump for people in the poorest parts of Pakistan. £250 buys a motor pump and £1,300 a water well.
Just £65 can enable a poor person to benefit from a free cataract operation which will reverse the possibility of blindness in the future.
£360 buys one vulnerable woman a full year’s self-reliance sewing training course to help promote independence and self-sufficiency.
