About this fund

Created 30/03/2022
Technology is a global industry. So when geopolitical conflicts arise and human rights are threatened, it shouldn't matter how far away from the conflict zone company headquarters are, our duty is to intervene, take action and call for the end of aggression, to stand up for freedom and self-determination, and for independence.
We can’t watch the war escalate in real-time without helping. Speak up for solidarity and safety by joining our campaign.
On April 6, the day of Activate Virtual, we are challenging you to raise £50,000 ($66,000) collectively for Ukraine, which we will distribute evenly across the three charities below. These charities are on the ground and making a difference in the region.
Charities in the fund
These 3 charities are all working round the clock to get vital aid and relief to people across Ukraine.
Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline (CCLL)
Since 2008, CCLL has worked mainly in the north of Ukraine and is known and trusted by the local communities. Their goal is to support children and their families in this time of great need.
Ukraine Charity (UC)
Ukraine Charity was established in 2007 to help orphans, underprivileged children and young adults in Ukraine. All their efforts are now focused on providing much needed humanitarian relief.
The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC)
DEC is a group of 15 UK charities which coordinates collective appeals to raise funds and provide emergency aid when disaster hits.
