Toucan collaborates with partners to revolutionise charitable giving

Toucan has joined forces with a range of exciting partners as it embarks on its journey to revolutionise charitable giving.

The recently launched app appeared on BBC Dragons’ Den, where it momentously received an offer from all five Dragons before securing investment from the newest of the quintet, Steven Bartlett. 

Toucan is strengthening its mission to redefine charitable giving by teaming up with Swapi, Perkbox, Wrkit, Tahora and Vivup to boost its ambitions of making donating to charity fun, flexible and accessible.

Toucan has previously partnered with retail fashion giant, H&M. It ran a competition where H&M club members could win £1000 for their three chosen charities.  

To celebrate these new partnerships, customers can now reap the rewards of donating with Toucan by receiving a donation top-up that will go straight to the causes they care about.

Toucan hopes to raise over £6,000 for charities via its partnership with Swapi, the fast-growing loyalty e-wallet platform.  

Swapi is also giving all new app users 250 ‘Swapi Points’ (its loyalty currency) for free, to spend on their in-app marketplace - home to discounts, offers and freebies from over 400 household name brands including Tui, eBay, Selfridges and many more. 

Customers simply need to follow a unique link within the Swapi app between now and Friday 25th February, which will direct them to the Toucan app, where they can make a donation to up to three charities of their choice. For every donation, Swapi will boost each one with a £3 top-up.


Swapi’s founder CEO Pete Howroyd, has expressed his delight in the partnership, which comes at an important time:

Meanwhile, until 25th February 2022, Perkbox will also add £3 top-up donations through the Toucan app. Customers can access their unique code on the Perkbox app to give their favourite charities a much-needed boost.

Perkbox is a global employee benefits and rewards platform, housing over 1000 rewards and discounts from the biggest brands available all year round.

Customers of Wrkit, an employee engagement platform and Tahora, a workplace connectivity platform can also benefit from a £3 boosted donation, until 25th February. While users of Vivup, an employee benefits site, can reap the rewards between 17th February and 11th March.
